Your Five Minute Dr. Seuss Dharma.

“And they built it right over those two stubborn Zax, and left them there standing un-budged in their tracks” ~ Dr. Seuss

There's a most wonderful story by children's author, Dr. Seuss - in which two men happen upon the same point along the same path along the very same bridge. Unwavering unwillingness - and a most wretched stubbornness kept them there, each refusing to budge, for nearly 85 years.

The men grew old as life grew around them. All that time spent lock stepped in a moment led them nowhere.

As those years slipped away, so did their memory of what it was that brought them there. And yet, in all of that time spent feverishly staring down - never once did it occur to them to ask the most simple question,

"Where are you going my friend? And how may I help you now?"

My dears, we have all found ourselves stuck on this very same bridge - so caught up in the emotion of our story, that we lose sight of the purpose of being here.

And gripping so tightly to "foolish pride"...we let go of the very thing that matters most in life...

Happiness, kindness and unconditional love.

Sure, life is serious and it can be very, very hard - but don't get so caught up that you end up losing what you have now.

Lighten up...be silly...and smile.

Do the things you most wanted, and wished for a while...

Dream now....and discover there's only right now.

The world is here waiting, my dears, so figure out how...
“And when you're alone there's a very good chance
you'll meet things that scare you right out of your pants
There are some, down the road between hither and yon,
that can scare you so much you won't want to go on.”
That's the true test, now isn't it?

To remember our purpose, when reason slips away...

And to have faith that a heart, unstuck, will always find its way.

Because, stuck is stuck and no matter what.

And that person you're glaring at, could become the one you most love.

Namaste, my most beautiful friends ~ and may we always smile to those who'll happen along our way.
