Heartbreaking Video Shows Dog Crying at the Grave of Owner's Grandmother.

“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.”

~ Milan Kundera

And, never a truer statement has there been.

My own faithful pup, Nudnick, has proven just this time and time again.

He has been there for me through each life challenge, always ready with the waggy tail to help gently shift things back into perspective.

Oh, and how he shares of his heart, without question, each day ~ this, the truest expression of unconditional love.

Meet Wiley, who is one of a number of 'service wolves' that are tasked to help heal our veterans returning with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. And Wiley, has faithfully attended this mission working in partnership with the Lockwood Animal Rescue Center's (LARC), Warriors with Wolves program.

I have always felt it takes a very special dog to create a space of compassion and healing. But, as of yet, I have been unsuccessful at putting into words just what 'special' means to me.

However, I believe this video makes the point quite clearly.

In this most brilliant video, Wiley appears to be sobbing at the grave site of her owner's late grandmother, Gladys.

In the background, you will hear the words, "We miss her, too."

You see, Gladys was a long-time supporter and very dear friend of all the animals here at LARC.

And, as you can see by this video ~ she will be very much, and most dearly missed.

Video: Wiley Offers His Love.
