The Best Days of My Life.

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.” ― Patanjali

And what a wonderful world it can be, when it is that we may find within ourselves purpose—that one thing that sets our souls free.

And though, these challenges I have been facing lately, are enough to make the strongest spirit weak...over time I have learned what I once dreaded the most, has become by far... my greatest gift.

This world and life are far too spectacular, to lose even just one moment of it to grief; to wrap ourselves up so tightly in our heads, that we miss the magnificence and true joy of living.

“Because you are alive, everything is possible.”  ― Thich Nhat Hanh,

This is one of my most favorite songs, sung by a dear man who's energy lit up this world. He always made me smile, and though he has long since passed—the joy of his love remains.

Israel Kamakawiwo`Ole, or Iz for short—used to say make your "kuleana pono"...which is Hawaaian for 'get your spirit right.' If you listen carefully, you'll hear it in his rendition of the song, "What a Wonderful World."

Each day is a gift, my friends—and each moment is its very own blessing.

And if there should be days where you feel overwhelmed—remember today's moments will soon be, tomorrow's memories.

namaste my most beautiful friends—you, my dears, were meant for unmitigated happiness...and these are the very best days of your life.
