What Motivates Kindness?

"In the end, maybe it's wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices.”  ~ Elizabeth Gilbert

What is our motivation for being so very kind?

To offer Compassion's hand when time...circumstance...or our own misgivings.... might otherwise pull us away?

What moves us from that single moment of hesitation to a potential life altering change for others?

Mark Twain once said, "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see."

Myself? I have always believed that a single act of kindness has the capacity to transcend all...

All of these, our preconceived notions of tolerance and terror....

And directly through past hurts and horrors....

To forge a new understanding of Humanity's truest potential...

That is, of finally healing this world.

It's true what they say, you know...'kindness ripples'...

Though, this ripple extends in ways one might never know.

My dears, may we always allow a space for Kindness at our spiritual 'table'...

Namaste, and much love this day...
