One Moment of Still.

“I loved the quiet places in Kyoto, the places that held the world within a windless moment. Inside the temples, Nature held her breath. All longing was put to sleep in the stillness, and all was distilled into a clean simplicity.”
― Pico Iyer
What a most beautiful surprise, and one that found us in just that moment before the thoughts of the day had settled in...

You see, while out on our walk so very early this day - Nudnick and I were graced by the vision of two baby foxes looking back our way.

And though, you might think the space to be filled with hesitation  - instead, curiosity laid claim where fear failed to tread.

I have always been most fascinated with those few fumbling moments before realization settles in....before thoughts are formed and reaction begins.

I like to think that these are the moments when we are most able to *see* ~ uncluttered, unfettered...and most completely, unlimited....

Isn't it amazing what might fill the space when it is that we allow our thoughts one moment of stillness.

Namaste my most beautiful friends...as from my heart, thank you for the gift of your light on this brisk fall September morning.
